Our Why

Your Veteran’s History was born from a deeply personal understanding of the challenges veterans have faced in sharing their experiences. My father (mom and dad pictured), a U.S. Marine in Vietnam, like many who served, rarely speaks about his time in the war. For countless families, the details of their veteran’s service have remained elusive, leaving them with the huge void of not knowing what their loved one experienced.

Your Veteran’s History was created to fill that void.

Every veteran’s story matters — whether they served on the front lines or in support roles. Together, we’ll ensure their legacy endures for generations.

Why This Work Matters to Me and to My Family

I started Your Veteran’s History to help families like mine.

My dad rarely talked about his time in Vietnam. I know what it’s like to grow up surrounded by silence and wonder and I also know how powerful it can be to finally understand what your loved one endured and accomplished.

I do this work for the families searching for closure, pride and connection, including my own.
