Lesley Stelly’s Vietnam War Service

Lesley James Stelly served as a U.S. Army heavy vehicle driver during the Vietnam War. Traveling the dangerous Route 19 corridor through South Vietnam’s Central Highlands, he transported fuel, ammunition, food and equipment that kept American combat units supplied from Qui Nhon through An Khê to Pleiku.
