World War I Service
Floyd William Little served as an infantryman with Company F, 359th Infantry Regiment, 90th Division during World War I. He fought on the Western Front in France, taking part in major offensives including St. Mihiel and operations against the Hindenburg Line, where he was wounded by gas and later awarded the Purple Heart.
Floyd Little’s Service Memorial
Josh Plunk (pictured on the left) reached out to us with a request to uncover two family stories — one from his grandfather, who served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, and another from his great-grandfather, Floyd Little. We uncovered both stories and delivered them as meaningful Christmas gifts for Josh’s dad, pictured on the right, connecting generations through service, sacrifice and legacy.
